New Website to Help Businesses Move to Virginia

February 3, 2011

Businesses looking to locate or expand in Virginia now have an enhanced Website to help the process along.

The one-stop site was launched Tuesday, and Gov. Bob McDonnell says its creation fulfills a campaign process to give business a streamlined tool to serve their needs.

The site provides registration information for the departments of Taxation, General Services, Minority Business Enterprise, Professional and Occupational Regulation, Business Assistance and the Virginia Employment Commission.

McDonnell says the enhanced site is designed to ensure Virginia continues to maintain its reputation as being the best place in the nation to grow or start a new business.

As the site is developed, additional state agencies will be added.
