UPDATE: Virginia State Police have called off their portion of the search for a possible abduction victim in Spotsylvania county, citing lack of pertinent information verifying that a child is, indeed, missing.
No parent has come forward to say their child is missing that matches the description of the boy a witness says they saw pulled into a van.
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is continuing their portion of the search.

FBI agents and Virginia State Police are searching for a missing boy after receiving reports that a child was grabbed off a neighborhood street in Spotsylvania County.
The child has not been identified, and no child has been reported missing, but police are treating it like an abduction.
A witness says she saw a boy get pulled off his bike, and into a blue work van.
The boy is described as being 10 to 12 years old, about 5 feet tall, with light-brown hair. He was wearing a red and white striped shirt, and blue cargo shorts.
Police say identifying the vehicle is just as important as identifying the child or the suspect.
"This is a critical piece of evidence that we have gotten this information from multiple sources," says Capt. Jeff Pearce with the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office. "That vehicle was seen in the neighborhood on several occasions recently and if anyone knows who owns that vehicle, whether, like I say, it was a parent who was recovering an unruly child, or if it is the abductor, we need to know who owns that vehicle."
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, around 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, wearing all black clothes.
If you have any information on this possible abduction, you are asked to call Virginia State Police at 1-800-V-A-CHILD.
