Redskins' Richmond Training Camp Going Over Budget

The new Redskins training camp facility in Richmond is expected to go over budget by as much as a million dollars.

The new Washington Redskins training camp facility in Richmond is scheduled to be finished soon, but officials are now saying its going over budget.

The Richmond Economic Development Authority says the project was originally budgeted at $10 million, but now is expected to cost an additional $800,000 to one-million dollars.

Extra money for the project will come from a reserve fund established by private donors.

Redskins training camp starts July 25.
