RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Police say they have in custody a juvenile whose behavior prompted a lockdown at a suburban Richmond High School.
Police said the youth was not on school property when he was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon. They released no further details.
Glen Allen High School was put on lockdown as a precaution after police said they were told a male student was distraught and might have a gun.
Police said there is no evidence the student had reported to school or was on the grounds.
The lockdown was lifted after the youth was taken into custody and police completed the search of the school.
