3 Facing 50 Charges in Richmond Shootings, Robberies

More than 50 charges have been filed against three suspects in a recent series of shootings and robberies in Richmond.

The incidents that occurred in April include one homicide.

Richmond police announced the indictments Thursday in a news release.

Twenty-year-old Shayleisha Shenelle Winston of Glen Allen, 18-year-old Corey James Walters of Richmond, and 25-year-old Stephen Emanuel Mangrum of Hopewell are charged with murder, robbery and other counts stemming from a shooting and robbery on April 6 and a robbery and fatal shooting on April 9.

Walters and Mangrum also face attempted murder, robbery and other charges stemming from an April 16 shooting and robbery.
