Virginia has recorded its seventh death related to a storm that has left hundreds of thousands of customers without power.
Spokeswoman Corinne Geller of the Virginia State Police says the state medical examiner has concluded a traffic death Friday night in Montgomery County was storm related. The other deaths all resulted from falling trees.
Additional details were not available on the Montgomery County death and the sheriff's office is not responding to telephone calls.
Geller said there are also 12 storm-related injuries, including a volunteer firefighter in Franklin County who suffered life-threatening injuries.
