WISE, Va. (AP) - Thousands are expected to seek free medical care at clinic setting up shop in southwest Virginia.
Among the scheduled visitors to the Wise clinic on Friday will be Gov. Terry McAuliffe, his health and human services secretary, Bill Hazel, and Attorney General Mark Herring.
They'll be volunteering at the Mission of Mercy clinic. It is the Virginia Dental Association's outreach to the Remote Area Medical Clinic.
Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Organizers say dental care and vision services are the most popular services at RAM.
