Director Steven Spielberg's movie about Abraham Lincoln that was filmed in Virginia is set to open in November.
The Virginia Film Office says "Lincoln" will be released in theaters Nov. 9 and expand nationally on Nov. 16.
The film stars Daniel Day-Lewis as the president and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln. Supporting actors include Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader and David Strathairn.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the production employed more than 400 Virginia crew members and staff as well as about 1,200 actors and extras.
The Virginia Film Office said that the production company spent $32.4 million in the state during filming and the economic impact for the Richmond and Petersburg areas was more than $64 million.
