Virginia tourism officials have announced a new iPhone application designed to help users access information about more than 12,000 attractions, restaurants, hotels and special events.
The Virginia Tourism Corporation said Tuesday that the mobile guide is available for free at the iTunes app store for iPhones and iPads users.
The app includes a "Near Me" feature which allows users to find all attractions in a 15-mile radius. It also features directions and maps for every listing, direct access to call for reservations through phone or website, and customer reviews for restaurants and hotels.
