(AP) - Donald Trump said in an address to students at the Falwell family's Liberty University in Virginia that President Barack Obama is "a Teflon president."
The billionaire developer who made a run for the Republican presidential nomination this year told Monday's convocation at the Christian school in Lynchburg that the president seems to get good press no matter what he does.
He said the president gets praised for handling foreign policy despite violent recent uprisings across Muslim countries in Africa and the Middle East.
Trump, famous for his signature "you're fired" line on NBC's reality show "The Apprentice," also turned Christ's Sermon on the Mount on its ear. Rather than turn the other cheek as Jesus counseled in Matthew 5:39, he told Liberty students to "get even."
