The annual Old Fiddler's Convention in Galax is aiming to break the Guinness World Record for largest mandolin ensemble.
WDBJ-TV says mandolin players will attempt to break the record Tuesday afternoon. They'll play four tunes: "Old Joe Clark," ''Cripple Creek," ''Angeline the Baker" and "Soldier's Joy."
The existing record is 383 mandolin players set in Germany on July 18, 2005.
