Virginia State Police have responded to over 300 motor vehicle crashes statewide since midnight March 6 through 10:00 AM this morning.
Virginia troopers have responded to 367 traffic crashes and 237 disabled vehicles. State police dispatchers have fielded more than 547 additional calls for assistance and other information.
The majority of the crashes involved damaged vehicles only. There have been no reported traffic fatalities resulting from storm conditions.
The busiest areas of the state are for troopers are the Richmond, Culpeper and Appomattox Field Divisions.
Troopers have responded to and investigated 133 crashes in the Richmond, 76 in Culpeper, and 79 in Appomattox.
Dispatchers have also responded to the increased calls for service as the weather deteriorates throughout the state. 839 calls for service have come into emergency communications centers.
