January 27, 2011

Police in central Pennsylvania have arrested a Virginia man they say broke into a daycare center and fell asleep.

Shiremanstown police charged 28-year-old Jerry Rattanavongsin, of Woodbrige, Va., with breaking into the United Methodist Church daycare building early Sunday morning.

The Patriot-News of Harrisburg reports a neighbor called police after hearing someone pounding on glass until it broke. Police said officers found Rattanavongsin confused and shirtless inside the building.

Rattanavongsin faces charges including burglary and criminal trespass. He is being held on $25,000 bail. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
