Fairfax County police say a man found his stolen property on Craigslist, arranged to meet the seller and called police to arrest him.

Police say the victim's car was broken into Thursday and two GPS devices were stolen. The victim reported the crime to police and checked Craigslist for the stolen items.

Police say the victim saw an item he thought was his, contacted the seller and arranged to meet him Saturday at a doughnut shop.

Police say the victim recognized the item as his and called police.

Twenty-year-old Patrick Hayward was charged with receiving and buying stolen goods.
