A Virginia Beach police officer will be sentenced in July on sex charges involving a teenage girl.
The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/IPKajK) reports that 45-year-old Michael Alan Chilldres pleaded guilty to five counts of aggravated sexual battery Monday in Virginia Beach Circuit Court.
A police department spokesman says Chilldres has been on suspension without pay since he was arrested in December.
Sentencing is set for July 18.
