Va. Plays Host to 4 Feature Films in the Fall

Virginia played host to four feature films this fall.

The Virginia Film Office says the movies were filmed in October and November in the Richmond area, Roanoke, as well as Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.

The first film called "Unanswered Prayers" was shot in the Richmond area. The made-for-television movie based on the popular Garth Brooks song of the same name.

A movie called "Lake Effects" was filmed in the Smith Mountain Lake area. It is the story of two estranged sisters who reunite with their mother after the death of their father.

The final film called "Alone Yet Not Alone" was filmed in the Roanoke and Williamsburg areas. It is about an immigrant family before the French and Indian War in 1755.

A holiday movie called "A Christmas Kiss" was filmed in the Richmond area.
