VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - Virginia Beach police say nine people were injured when a vehicle ran a red light and hit a Hampton Roads Transit bus.
Police tell media outlets that the injured included seven passengers on the bus and both drivers. None of the injuries appeared to be serious.
The accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at an intersection.
Police cited the driver of the vehicle for running the light. The driver wasn't identified.
Twenty passengers were on the bus at the time.
