U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello is beating the heat by ducking in and out of air conditioned stores along the area's Main Streets, listening to business owners.
In Scottsville, the congressman made his first stop at Rivertown Antiques. Perriello talked to the business owners and Scottsville officials about the town's economy and what he's doing to try and help small businesses in the 5th District.
"There are a lot of business owners that have been struggling and we've been letting them know about the tax credits for small business we've passed and new small business lending fund that's going to be coming online," Perriello said. "The two things businesses need, customers and credit, we're trying to help them on both fronts."
After his visit to Scottsville, Perriello made his way to Fluvanna County to visit Fork Union.

Interesting. Same picture from last week. Two questions: We care why?, and are you being payed for political advertising. Politicians pimping themselves to the public is not and never will be news. I would rather see pictures/stories of the rioting in Kalifornia.
