Some local roads are seeing changes.

Mulberry Avenue off Shamrock Road in Charlottesville will no longer be a two-way street. It switched over to a one-way street beginning Tuesday evening.

This change is only temporary until the reconstruction of the Jefferson Park Avenue bridge is finished. Police officers will be on Shamrock Road to help direct traffic.

Rio Road and Dunlora Drive will also have a new traffic signal on Wednesday. The signal will assist drivers turning in and out of the Dunlora community.

The signal will be placed into full-cycle operation after the morning rush hour on Wednesday. The new signal will be synchronized with the existing signal at East Rio Road and the entrance to the Charlottesville-Albemarle Technical Education Center.
