VDOT plans to re-pave sections of Rio Road and Hydraulic Road next week and the agency is urging drivers to choose other routes or expect delays.

VDOT spokesman Lou Hatter said the work will begin on Wednesday, September 7th. West Rio Rd. and West Hydraulic Rd. will be affected. Both roads are west of Route 29.

The work will be done between 7 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. to minimize inconvenience. The re-paving should be completed by the end of September.
