Cavs Come Back to Take Down Hokies

After trailing by as many as 11 in the second half, the No. 14 Virginia men's basketball team came back to beat Virginia Tech 57-53 Tuesday night in Blacksburg.

The Cavaliers shot 6-for-12 from beyond the arc in the second half, including 4-of-5 in the final four minutes. Justin Anderson scored all 9 of his points in the final 3:27 of the game.

Malcolm Brogdon led UVa in scoring with 12 points, while London Perrantes added 11. The 'Hoos win came despite a tough night on the free throw, with UVa finishing at 53-percent on 8-for-15 shooting. The win improves the 'Hoos to 22-5 on the season and extends their winning streak to 10 games.

At 13-1 in the ACC, the Cavaliers have now tied the most conference wins in program history. They have also now won five-straight over Virginia Tech.

UVa returns home to face Notre Dame Saturday at John Paul Jones Arena, where tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
