Long Wait Over: Virginia Wins ACC Championship

Regular season champions. ACC Tournament champions.

No. 6 Virginia, the top seed in the Tournament, pulled off the double-dip Sunday by beating No. 7 Duke, 72-63, for its first ACC crown since 1976.

Malcolm Brogdon scored a game-high 23 and Tournament MVP Joe Harris added 15 for the Cavaliers.

Sunday's game featured multiple ties and lead changes before Virginia used a 13-4 run in the final three minutes of regulation to give the Wahoos the championship.

By beating the Blue Devils, Virginia avenged one of its two conference losses during the regular season and holds a win over every team in the conference this season.
