Moses Slips to Second Day of NFL Draft

Morgan Moses will have to wait one more night to find out his NFL destination.

The Virginia offensive tackle went unselected in Thursday night's Round 1 of the NFL Draft. Moses was hoping to become the first UVa player taken in Round 1 since Eugene Monroe in 2009, and was one of 30 prospects invited to attend this year's draft in New York City.

The draft resumes with Round 2 at 7 p.m. Friday.

Five offensive linemen were taken in Thursday night's first round, including Tennessee tackle Ja'Wuan James by the Miami Dolphins at No. 19 overall. Miami had been listed as a potential destination for Moses in mock drafts earlier this week.

Another popular destination for Moses in mock drafts had been Carolina, with the 28th overall pick. But the Panthers used that choice on Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin.
