Virginia football fans should get a good, long look at the top three quarterbacks competing for next year's starting job at Saturday's spring game.
Virginia released the rosters for Saturday's Orange and Blue spring game on Friday. The top three quarterbacks on the depth chart -- sophomore David Watford, junior Phillip Sims, and freshman Greyson Lambert -- are all listed on both teams.
The spring game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Sims -- who appeared in all 12 games for the Cavaliers in 2012, including four starts -- is the only quarterback on the roster to ever start a college game. But he entered the spring third on the depth chart behind Watford and Lambert, who both redshirted last fall.
Watford appeared in 10 games as a true freshman in 2011, while Lambert has never played in a college game.
Sophomore defensive ends Mike Moore and Trent Corney, and junior linebacker D.J. Hill will also play for both teams on Saturday. The list of 11 players who won't suit up for the spring game include junior cornerback Tra' Nicholson and senior defensive tackle Justin Renfrow.
Senior offensive tackle Morgan Moses is captain of the Blue team, while junior safety Anthony Harris is captain for the Orange team.
The first half of Saturday's game will feature 15-minute quarters with normal clock operation. The second half will feature two 12-minute quarters with a clock that stops only for penalties and possession changes. The game will conclude with a two-minute drill.
Possessions will start on the 20-yard line, with no kickoffs or punt returns.
