The Charlottesville Super Regional of the NCAA Tournament between ACC rivals Virginia and Maryland will begin at noon on Saturday.
Schedules for all eight NCAA super regionals were announced Tuesday morning, with UVa and the Terrapins scheduled to play at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Game 3, if necessary, would be played at 4 p.m. Monday.
All three games will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
No. 3 UVa is one of just three of the eight national seeds to advance to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament. This marks the Cavaliers' fifth super regional appearance in the last six years.
This weekend will be Maryland's first-ever super regional appearance. The best-of-three series also marks the first time two ACC programs will go head-to-head in a super regional, with the winner giving the conference a program at the College World Series for the ninth consecutive season.
UVa and the Terrapins are the final two ACC teams remaining in the NCAA field.
