Former Monticello and Liberty quarterback Mike Brown apparently made his mark in his NFL audition with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The team invited Brown to their rookie mini-camp to try and make the 90-man roster as a wide receiver and from published reports, Jags' coach Mike Mularkey liked what he saw.

Mularkey singled out Brown as one of the bright spots of camp, saying "(Brown) has shown up everyday and done something," according to a published report.

In the report Mularkey stated he hoped to sign 3-5 players from the camp with an official announcement coming Monday but a Liberty University football report has stated Brown has indeed been signed to the 90-man roster and can participate in organized team activities and training camp.
