The Western Albemarle and Monticello Field Hockey teams will meet in the Jefferson District Title Game.

The Warriors continued their unbeaten run through the district by blasting Powhatan, 5-0. Top-seeded Western led 3-0 at the half and got a second-half goal from Morgan Schuler to hold on for the win.

In the nightcap, Monticello held off a game Charlottesville squad, 3-0, to advance. The Mustangs led by just one at the half before tacking on two goals in the second half.

The Warriors and Mustangs will meet Thursday night for the championship.
