Western Albemarle hosted Monticello in a key Jefferson District volleyball battle Thursday.
After they took the first game handily, 25-10, the Warriors stayed on the attack and won the second game convincingly as well, 25-12.
The Mustangs would not go down without a fight and rallied back and forth in the third game. Western was too much to handle, however, and the Warriors took the third game 25-22.
