The Jefferson District Cross Country Championships were held Wednesday at Panorama Farms.
Western Albemarle won the boys team title behind the 1-2-3 finish of Dave Taylor, Gavin Ratcliffe and Adam Schiller. Monticello was the runner-up.
Fluvanna claimed the team title on the girl's side, while Western finished second. Rachel Byrd of Powhatan won the individual championship. Fluvanna's Nicki Douma was second and Monticello's Madeline Hermsmeier finished third.
