The Western Albemarle and Monticello football teams will have to wait an extra day before renewing their Jefferson District rivalry.
Friday's scheduled game at Monticello has been postponed until 7:30 p.m. Saturday because of the threat of thunderstorms in the area. Tickets bought in advance will be honored at the gate Saturday night.
Both teams enter the game 4-0 on the season. The Mustangs are 1-0 in the district after last Friday's 34-27 win at Louisa, while Saturday's game will be Western's district opener.
