Western Teammates to Play Volleyball at R-MC

A pair of Western Albemarle seniors are making a move from one volleyball powerhouse to another.

Teammates Riley Martin and Katie Rossberg will both play collegiate volleyball at Division-III Randolph-Macon next season. The Yellow Jackets have won the past three ODAC championships, and last year reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Martin and Rossberg were both first-team all-district and all-region selections, and second-team all-state last season, as they helped lead the Warriors to an 11th straight Jefferson District title. Western lost to Jamestown in the AA state quarterfinals.
