It's a big test for the Western Albemarle Warriors, and one of the most anticipated match-up's of this young high school football season in Central Virginia. The Warriors (4-0) welcome the Louisa Lions (3-1) who are fresh off a 56-0 thrashing of William Monroe in both teams Jefferson District opener.
Western has yet to taste defeat this season and took care of Fluvanna in their District Opener and look forward to Friday's match-up. Lions head coach Mark Fischer and his team are also excited for the game. Fischer sees it as a "old fashioned slobber knocker."
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night at Western Albemarle High School.
