The Woodberry Forest Tigers football defeated the visiting Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils, 28-7 in Saturday's league bout.
The Tigers were led by Ade Olayowo, who carried the ball 17 times for 119 yards and a touchdown.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Collegiate Cougars in a VISFA Virginia Prep bout, on Friday, October 9. Woodberry Forest will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 23-7 non-league win over Episcopal.
The Blue Devils (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against St. Christopher's. The Saints enter the VISFA Virginia Prep bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, St. Christopher's defeated St. Anne's-Belfield, 31-7, in a non-league bout.
