The Western Albemarle Warriors stayed perfect on Monday night, beating Monticello 28-6.
Western Albemarle quarterback Stephen Schuler was a part of all four Warrior touchdowns, throwing for three and rushing for the other. Dom Losco, Nick Kuzjak and Cody Davis all had touchdown receptions for the Warriors, who are now 7-0 on the season (4-0 in the Jefferson District).
Monticello got two field goals from Nick Kalinsky, including a school-record 44 yarder right before the end of the first half. With the loss, Monticello's record drops to 2-5 (1-3 in the Jefferson District).
Monday's game was a make-up of a game originally scheduled for Friday October 16th. The Warriors head to William Monroe on Friday, while Monticello takes on Charlottesville.
