After dropping their season opener on the road to East Rockingham, the Madison County Mountaineers (1-1) returned home to take on the Luray Bulldogs.
The 'Eers were led by Logan Carpenter, who had a rushing touchdown and blocked a Luray punt. Head coach Stuart Dean made the drive south on Route 29 to visit the Friday Night Endzone studio and discuss the win with our own Damon Dillman.
The Mountaineers have a week off before heading back on the road to take on Page County on Sept. 14.
