Blue Ridge bounced back nicely from its first loss of the season with a big win at home against Virginia Episcopal. The game was tied 6-6 midway through the second quarter when the Barons started to run away, taking a 23-6 lead at the half. Blue Ridge moved to 6-1 overall.

The Tigers improved to 5-2 on the season with a 52-13 thrashing of Kiski Prep. They jumped out to a 15-0 lead after the first quarter and increased the lead to 28-7 at the half.
