It was a record breaking day for Monticello football, but unfortunately the records were for the wrong reasons. For the first time in over five years the team was held scoreless and the relentless rushing attack of Handley's 66 carries were the most ever by an opposing team of the Mustangs. Two of those carries put points on the board for the Handley Judges.

The game didn't begin well for the Mustangs either. Isaac Robinson muffed the opening kick off which led to the first of two Trae Peck touchdown runs for the Judges. Couple the two rushing scores with two Donovan Varney field goals for Handley and you come with the final 19-0 score which ends the Mustangs season.

Monticello finishes their season with a record of 7-5.
