(MaxPreps.com) -- In Friday's non-league game, the Madison County Mountaineers football team knocked off the host Luray Bulldogs, by a final score of 28-20.
The Mountaineers (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Page County. The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Page County was dropped by Strasburg, 21-15, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson Memorial for a non-league game on Friday, October 2. Luray will battle a Green Hornets team coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Riverheads. The Green Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
