The Page County Panthers football team, was beaten 35-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Madison County Mountaineers.
The Mountaineers were led by Logan Terrell and Devon Boone who had two touchdowns each.
The Mountaineers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson. The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Jackson achieved victory over Strasburg, 21-18, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Clarke County for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 9. Page County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-0 non-league win over Cumberland. The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
