Monticello and Orange are both looking to get back to .500 on the high school football field. The Mustangs and Hornets meet on Orange's home field this Friday night in our Friday Night EndZone Game of the Week. The contest marks the Jefferson District opener for both squads.

Monticello enters this match up with a 1-2 record, and has lost its last two games. The latest was a 56-6 loss to Powhatan this past Friday night. The Mustangs won their season opener against Albemarle before falling to Huguenot in their second game. They are the defending Jefferson District champions. This marks their first road game of the year.

The Hornets also enter this contest at 1-2. After falling at Chancellor to open things up, Orange topped Culpeper in its second game, before losing to James Monroe, 14-0, last Friday.

Monticello won last season's match up, 44-14, and has won seven straight games in this match up.
