STAB had their first home game of the year Friday night when they played host to Trinity Episcopal. John Blake's boys are perennially one of the best private school teams in the state, but had yet to taste victory in 2009. However, the Saints looked to turn things around against TES.
After a scoreless first half, STAB got on the board first in the third quarter with an Aaron Clark touchdown run, 7-0 Saints.
After Trinity was unable to capitalize on a fumble, Jake Rainey rolled to his right and found Shane Palmeteer for a fourth quarter touchdown, giving the Saints a 21-0 lead.
On the next STAB drive, after an Aaron Clark put the Saints on the goal line, Clark finished what he started and scored the fourth Saints touchdown, his second of the game.
STAB would go on to win by a score of 28-0 to secure their first win of the year. STAB (1-2) travels to St. Christopher's on Saturday, October 3.
