STAB Falls to St. Christopher's in the Battle of the Saints

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Christopher's Saints and the visiting St. Anne's-Belfield Saints, observed St. Christopher's's football squad defeat St. Anne's-Belfield by a count of 31-7.

The Saints now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fork Union Military Academy for a VISFA Virginia Prep contest on Friday, October 9. St. Christopher's will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 28-7 league loss to Woodberry Forest. The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Saints encounter the Virginia Episcopal Bishops in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 9. St. Anne's-Belfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bishops go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 38-14 non-league loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
