Ross LaBauex scored in the 37th minute to give Virginia a 1-0, and the Cavaliers added to that lead, shutting out Mt. Saint Mary's, 3-0, at Klockner Stadium tonight. With the win, Virginia improves to 7-1-1.
The Cavaliers took the 1-0 lead into halftime, and Yannick Reyering added a goal in the 86th minute for insurance. Will Hall added a third goal in the 90th minute on a penalty kick to complete the scoring for Virginia.
The Cavs outshot the Mounts, 15-5. Virginia will host Virginia Tech on Friday night at 7:00.
