The Virginia offense came to life Saturday night, scoring 27 points in the first quarter as the Cavaliers defeated Pitt at Scott Stadium 44-14.
The Cavaliers extend their winning streak to four games, the program's longest since 2004.
Jameel Sewell threw three touchdowns in the first quarter. He was 16-of-31 overall for 169 yards with no turnovers.
Cedric Peerman ran for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
