Cavalier Women Unveil 2010-2011 Schedule
16 home games grace the schedule for the upcoming year as Debbie Ryan and her team get ready for the first season without Monica Wright.

Cavalier women's basketball is entering a new era as the team will take the court for the first time without Monica Wright in 2010-2011. It will mark a tough road in order to get to the postseason and Virginia saw that road mapped out for the first time on Wednesday.

Virginia fans will get 16 chances to see their team at John Paul Jones Arena, though the Cavs will open on the road on November 12 at Hofstra. Their home opener will be on November 14 against Mt. St. Mary's, followed by a November 18 trip to Tennessee. Virginia's schedule also featuring a trip to Ohio State for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, an ACC opener with Miami at home and trips to Chapel Hill and Blacksburg. Coach Ryan will also take her team to the Virgin Islands for the annual Paradise Jam tournament.
