The seventh ranked Virginia Men's Soccer Team started its five game homestand off on the right foot, topping Florida Atlantic, 4-2. With the win, the Cavaliers improve to 8-2-2.
Jonathan Villanueva and Jason Kim both scored their first goals of the season during the first half, sending the Cavs into the locker room up 2-0 at halftime. Matt Ayotte added two second half goals, which proved to be the difference maker in the 4-2 victory. The scores marked Ayotte's second and third goals of 2007.
Virginia outshot the Owls 13-5 on the night, and remain undefeated at Klockner Stadium this season. The Wahoos will battle ninth ranked Boston College on Friday night to continue their homestand. The contest will begin at 7:00.
