Chastity Lacy tallied six kills, while Jessica Carter added five kills, as the Western Albemarle Volleyball Team topped Orange, 3-0. With the win, the Warriors finish their regular season with a 19-1 record, and earn a perfect 12-0 mark in Jefferson District play.
The Hornets remained close throughout all three games, but Western was able to pull away in the late stages, taking the games 25-17, 25-18, and 25-15, respectively.
The Warriors will be the top seed in next week's Jefferson District tournament, and receive a first round bye. The quarterfinals will be on Tuesday, November 30th, with the better seed hosting. Western Albemarle will be the site of the November 1st semifinals and the November 3rd finals. All times will be announced later this week.
