Kelly Quinn broke a scoreless tie in the 63rd minute, and Meghan Lenczyk added two scores of her own, as the Cavalier Women's Soccer Team shutout Maryland, 3-0. With the win, Virginia remains unbeaten in ACC play with a record of 5-0-3.
Quinn connected on her sixth goal of the season when Shannon Foley found her with a perfect centering pass. Lenczyk added her fourth and fifth goals of the season in the 86th and 87th minutes, respectively.
The third ranked Cavaliers improved their overall record to 11-1-4, and will travel to Chestnut Hill to face Boston College on Sunday. They'll finish up regular season play next Friday at North Carolina.
