Ross LaBauex scored two first half goals to lead the Virginia Men's Soccer Team to a 4-0 shutout of Mercer tonight at Klockner Stadium. The win improves the Cavaliers' record to 10-4-2.
LaBauex found the net in the 14th minute to start the scoring, and added his second score at the 43 minute mark. The goals marked his fourth and fifth of the season.
Matt Mitchell scored for the second straight game. The freshman scored his second career goal in the 59th minute. Nino DiMaggio rounded out the Virginia scoring in the 90th minute.
The Cavaliers finish out their regular season schedule with two road games, the first being this Saturday at Maryland. Virginia ends its regular season at Wake Forest next Friday night. The ACC Tournament begins Tuesday, November 13th, in Cary, North Carolina.
