Jefferson District Volleyball Quarterfinal action concluded tonight, with three area teams punching their tickets to the district semifinals. Western Albemarle earned the district's number one seed, and was awarded a first round bye.
The second seeded Fluvanna Flucos advanced by knocking off Charlottesville, 3-0. They will face number three Monticello, who got by Orange, 3-1. William Monroe will face the top ranked Warriors, after beating Louisa, 3-0.
Semifinal action is this Thursday at Western Albemarle High School. The winners will advance to Saturday's championship game.
